Water Heat Exchangers: Great Design, Flawless Quality

Water Heat Exchangers

The devices that are designed to cool electrical wires using a chilled water source are known as water heat exchangers. They are designed to be installed easily and quickly.

Water heat exchangers are usually available in steel. They are used for deionised water and operate in temperatures up to seventy degrees Celsius. They accommodate an integrated side wall, wall and roof mounted applications. Roof mounted applications also require a simple but effective water leakage monitoring system. This system is controlled via the internal electronic controller.

These heat exchangers come in many varieties. An air to water heat exchanger is the one that is commonly used. These are fit for a number of cooling and heating applications. They are compact units that are designed to maximize the heat transfer. They use high density aluminum fins. The fins are made of copper tubes.

These fins are spaced about twelve fins per inch, fin density. This construction helps the product to handle heating loads between fifty to sixty thousand British thermal units per square foot. This unique feature enables the product to maintain a minimal resistance flow through the coils, despite high fin density.

Water heat exchangers have many applications. They can be used for residential heating, hybrid systems, dehumidification, air conditioning and apartment buildings and condominiums. These are commonly used for various domestic purposes. The most commonly used domestic water systems are of two types namely: the compression tanks and the instantaneous water heaters. Lets briefly discuss each type.

The compression tanks are made of steel. Being pressure rated tanks, they are constructed with welded joints. It has a butyl rubber diaphragm, which is factory installed. It includes an air precharge to minimize the system operating pressure at tank. They are usually welded to the tank before they are tested and labeled.

The instantaneous water heaters are indirectly fired water heater. It has a negligible storage capacity and heats water with steam. This heat exchanger is made from a stainless steel or bronze shell. It also includes a spiral wound copper or copper alloy water tubes. It supplies a pressure equal to that of steam supply pressure. The product is compatible with water heater shell for piping connections. It can also be used for pressure gages, relief valves, blow-down, vents, thermometer and controls.

The best water heat exchangers have a high flow rate. So its up to you, as a buyer, to check that the product comes with a compact design, complete inside and outside cabinet installation and is maintenance free. It is also advisable for you to confirm that the solenoid and thermostat are available for temperature control. This done, go ahead and enjoy the benefits of your valuable purchase!
